Who runs this site
GuildrunBuild is an independent, fan-made database and build planner for the game Guildrun. It is not operated by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Leyline Creations GmbH. Game names, statistics and images belong to their respective owners. You can reach the site owner at the address in the contact section below.
What we collect
Browsing the site requires no account and no personal data. We use Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic: which pages are opened, from which country and on which kind of device, in aggregate. Google receives your IP address to work out an approximate location and does not store it; we never see it. We use no advertising pixels and no fingerprinting. Analytics runs from the moment you arrive and you can switch it off at any time from the cookie banner or from Cookie preferences in the footer. If you choose to create an account, we store your email address, a hashed password or your sign-in provider identifier, and the builds you save. Nothing else.
Cookies we set
Necessary cookies: NEXT_LOCALE remembers the language you picked, a session cookie keeps you signed in if you sign in, and grb_consent records your cookie choices for six months. Analytics cookies: _ga and _ga_HWNZVQPE67, set by Google Analytics, tell one visitor from another for up to two years. If you switch analytics off we stop setting them and delete the ones already on your device. Advertising cookies: none are set today.
Advertising
This site may serve ads through Google AdSense. Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.
Consent and Google Consent Mode
Every Google tag on this site runs under Google Consent Mode. Analytics storage starts granted and you can withdraw it with one tap; advertising, ad personalisation and personalisation storage start denied everywhere and stay denied until you grant them, so by default no advertising identifier ever leaves this site. If you choose Necessary only, no request is sent to Google at all: the measurement script is not even loaded. Your choice is kept for six months and can be changed or withdrawn at any time from Cookie preferences in the footer, as easily as it was given.
Who else sees your data
The site runs on our own server; the database is ours and is not shared. We do not sell data and we do not transfer it to advertisers. Google processes the measurement data described above on our behalf, under its own terms, and may transfer it outside the European Economic Area under the standard contractual clauses. Where ads are served, Google acts as an independent controller for the data it collects through advertising cookies, under its own privacy policy.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask for a copy of the data tied to your account, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for the account and everything in it to be deleted. Deletion is immediate and permanent. Write to the address below and say which of the three you want.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted on the site.
