Relic
Burn Ascendancy
Epic
Effect
Quest: Inflict 1200 Burn. Rewards: The first time each enemy reaches 100 Burn, inflict 75 Burn on their nearest ally.
Where it sits
- It pays whenever that status lands, so it scales with how often the guild applies it.
- Its effect sits behind a quest, like 11 other Epic relics.
- It can turn up in 5 different events and rewards.
- The patch notes have touched it once since 0.5.1, in patch 0.5.9.
Combos
- It puts Burn on the board, and these pay for it: Burning Spiral Engine, Burn Conduit, Mage's Elemental Banner, and Thermal Inverter.
- It pays for Burn, so it wants something that applies it: Duelist's Flame Banner, Flaming Gauntlets, Sword of Combustion, Burn Accumulator, Burn Amplifier, and Burn Bauble.
Where it drops
- The Debtor - “Debt III (10% damage)”
- The Fairy Ring - “Epic relic option”
- The Well of Temptations - “Epic relic outcome”
- Three Paths - “Epic relic option (harder fights)”
- Random Epic Relic - “Gain Burn Ascendancy.”

Questions people ask
What does Burn Ascendancy do in Guildrun?
Quest: Inflict 1200 Burn. Rewards: The first time each enemy reaches 100 Burn, inflict 75 Burn on their nearest ally.
What is the difference between a relic and an item?
Items are equipped by a single hero and take up one of that hero's slots. Relics apply to the entire guild and do not use slots. That makes relics the stronger of the two when a build starts coming together.
How do I increase my team size?
Harmony Crystal raises it by one, up to five. So does each of the fifteen Mandate relics, but those require finishing an objective first, like dealing 15000 auto attack damage or applying 30000 shields. Pick the Mandate that matches what your team already does.
