The choices and what they give
The game shows the outcome only after you pick. Here it is next to the choice.

- Seek ItemGain an item after winning next combat. Heroes start that combat with Poison equal to 1% of their Max HP.Your guild holds their breath and steps inside the fairy ring. They manage to pull an item from the pile of treasures, but not before the spores set in. After fleeing the ring, your guild notices that their new treasure is crackling with dangerous portal energy. It will need a little time to cool off before it can be safely equipped.
- Seek RelicGain an epic relic after winning your next combat. Earn no Shards for that combat victory.Your guild holds their breath and steps inside the fairy ring. They manage to quickly pull a relic from the pile before the spores set in. It is woven tightly with bright threads of portal energy.
