Guildrun price
The short answer is that nobody knows yet, including the studio. What is settled is the model: you buy it once, and there is nothing to buy after that.
How much will Guildrun cost?
The price has not been announced. Guildrun will be a premium game bought once, which the studio confirmed in its Steam FAQ on 15 July 2026, and the store page still shows the price as To be announced. The demo is free, stays up indefinitely, and your progress carries over.
What has actually been confirmed
| Status | |
|---|---|
| Model | Premium, bought once |
| Price | Not announced |
| Microtransactions | None mentioned |
| Battle pass | None mentioned |
| Demo | Free |
| Steam store | Price shown as "To be announced" |
Where that comes from
A developer posting as BrainDeadEdd published an FAQ in the Steam discussions on 15 July 2026, the day before the demo went live. Asked about monetisation, the answer was that Guildrun is a premium title bought once, and that the price has not been determined.
That is the only public statement from the studio on the subject. The store page carries no number either.
One thing worth being precise about
The FAQ does not mention microtransactions or a battle pass. That is not the same as a promise that there will be none — it is an absence, not a commitment. Nothing in the demo points that way, and the model described is a straightforward one-time purchase, but the honest reading is that the studio has not been asked and has not answered.
The demo costs nothing, and does not expire
The demo went live on 16 July 2026 and is free. The studio said it stays online indefinitely while development continues, so it is not a trial window.
Progress carries over: metaprogression, difficulty unlocks and hero mastery ranks all transfer to the full game. Playing now is not time thrown away.
Why there is no number yet
The full game is targeted at 2027. Studios rarely fix a price that far out, and Leyline has not. Expect the figure when a release window firms up, not before.
