Updated 27 July 2026
Guildrun release date
Two different dates are circulating, and they do not agree. The short version: the studio says 2027, the press says late 2026, and the studio is the one worth believing.
What the studio says
On 15 July 2026, the day before the demo went live, a developer posting as BrainDeadEdd published an FAQ in the Steam discussions. Asked when the full game arrives, the answer was 2027.
The Steam store page itself still says "To be announced", so the FAQ is the most specific thing the studio has committed to in public.
Why you will also see "late 2026"
Coverage published on 16 July, the day the demo launched, reported a late 2026 window. That figure came from the announcement material rather than from the FAQ, and it has been repeated since.
When a studio FAQ and a press summary disagree, the FAQ wins. It is written by the people doing the work, it is dated, and it can be checked.

Does demo progress carry over
Yes. The studio confirmed that metaprogression, difficulty unlocks and hero mastery ranks all transfer to the full game. Time spent in the demo is not thrown away.
What the full game will cost
Guildrun will be a premium title bought once. The price has not been announced. There is no mention of microtransactions or a battle pass.
Two player co-op is in development. PvP is explicitly not planned, and that is a design choice rather than an omission: it is what allows builds to be as lopsided as they are.
