Seven archetypes

Mystic

A hero’s class decides two things that matter more than its stats: which upgrade pool it draws from at rank A and again at rank S, and which relics and items are built to support it. Seven classes, four heroes each, and a shared pool per class — so two heroes of the same class compete for the same upgrades. Each page below lists the heroes, both upgrade pools in full, and every relic and item that carries the class name.

Updated for patch 0.5.10

Bench-only upgrades

Sideline Support and Sideline Empowerment switch off the moment their Mystic takes the field. Both are Backup Only, a tag no other class list uses. From the reserves, Support grants 5 Shards and Shields for the team as combat opens, and Empowerment hands out Mana Regen, Attack and Magic, its Attack and Magic base doubled from 25 to 50 in 0.5.1. Arcane Backup Prism follows the same logic: 2 Mana Regen for the whole team per rank of each reserve Mystic.

Paid in Mana Regen

Each Mystic starts with 8 Mana Regen, twice what every other hero has, and the class averages 21.75 base Attack, the lowest of the seven. Most of its upgrades are priced in that stat. Empowered Magic gives the other heroes Attack and Magic equal to the caster's Mana Regen on every cast, Shield Formation counts each point as 10 Shields over a 400 base, and Stall Battery passes 3 Mana Regen to the heroes on each Stall trigger.

Stall Aria and Stall Tanks

Mystics appear in two builds, both five-hero Stall teams rated S. Stall Aria fields three, Pollen, Gustav and Grace, with Rowan as its only Tank. Stall Tanks puts Fiona at rank S, on Stall Battery and Stall Certainty, next to Gustav on Shield Magnification.

Both carry Mystic's Prosperity Filigree, the one relic with a class name that ranks B. After Stall (15) it gives the nearest hero Attack and Magic equal to 66% of the Mystic's Mana Regen. Until 0.5.7 the caster kept that bonus, although the text already named the nearest hero.

Mystic relics and items

18 entities carry the Mystic name. They are built around what the class does, so they are the first place to look when you commit to it.

Questions people ask

Which heroes are Mystic in Guildrun?
There are 4: Pollen, Fiona, Gustav, Grace. A hero can belong to more than one class, and some specializations grant a second class on top.
What upgrades can a Mystic take?
The Mystic pool has 15 upgrades at rank A and 15 at rank S. A hero takes one at rank A and another at rank S, and the two cannot be the same.
Which relics and items are made for Mystic?
18 carry the class name. Their effects reference what the class does, so they scale with a guild built around it rather than with any team.
Do two heroes of the same class compete for the same upgrades?
Yes. The pool is per class, not per hero, so running two heroes of one class means splitting the same list of upgrades between them.
