Difficulty and Endless mode
This guide has not been rewritten in your language yet, so you are reading the English version. We do not machine translate: entity names would stop matching the game.
Eight difficulties unlock in order, and past them sits Endless, which runs until you lose and feeds a global leaderboard. The two ask for different things.
What changes in Endless
In the normal difficulties you have to win a fixed number of fights. In Endless the enemies keep growing no matter what you do, so the question stops being how strong you are and becomes how fast you are still getting stronger.
A fixed bonus is a number that devalues every wave. An effect that accumulates is a curve. That distinction decides the run.
How to tell the two apart
Read the effect text and look for whenever, each time, lasting and per. Where those appear, the effect grows with the length of the fight, which in Endless is exactly what you have in abundance.
These three keep paying off:
- The stat on an engine applies to the whole guild, not just to that class, so it is useful even with one hero of that class.
- A relic like Warrior's Endurance Banner, which makes Warrior Rush abilities last 3 seconds longer, is a fixed improvement. Fine early, quiet later.
Shields, not healing
Across the whole game, shield appears in effect text 87 times and heal 15 times. That ratio is not an accident: the game is built on absorbing damage before it lands rather than repairing afterwards.
It also matters more as scaling climbs. Once a single hit exceeds what you can heal back, healing stops being an answer and lasting shields are what keep a hero standing.
Rush or Stall, not both
The two dominant themes are opposites. Rush pulls triggers forward and compresses the fight. Stall delays them and makes them larger.
Endless naturally favours Stall, because long fights are the norm and every extra second is time your accumulating effects are working. Both five hero builds in S tier are Stall builds; the Rush builds all sit at three heroes.
None of the nine tier list builds mixes the two.
The three leaderboards
The in game panels show a countdown to the next reset. The historical Hall of Fame is published by the developers in their Discord.
