Hero

Yuuna

Assassin

The Professional

Yuuna throws one shuriken per 40 Crit, up to ten, and always at the lowest-health enemy — she is the cleanup Assassin, best on boards where a fight has already been softened. Crit is not a damage stat for her so much as a volume stat: every 40 points is one more projectile.

What Yuuna gains per rank

A hero climbs C → B → A → S — 3 upgrades in all. Every stat rises at the same rate on every hero, with one exception: the primary stat of the class rises three to four times faster. For Yuuna that stat is Crit.

Stat gains per rank and total from C to S for Yuuna.

Defence+8+24
Attack+6+18
Magic+6+18

Health rises as a percentage of base health; every other stat is a flat addition. The specialization is chosen at rank B, and the class modifier pools open at A and S.

Starting ability

Shuriken Shadow Strike Active

Leap into the air and throw 1 (+1 per 40 Crit) shurikens at the lowest-health enemy for 150 (+150% Attack, +150% Magic) damage each. Max Shurikens: 10

Specializations

A hero unlocks one of these at rank B. The choice is locked for the run, and it decides which role the hero ends up playing.

The Shadow

The Shadow Passive

When Yuuna goes below 75% Max HP, she gains Stealth for 4 seconds. Triggers once per combat. Whenever Yuuna gains Stealth, she gains 40 Mana and permanently gains 5 (+5 per Rank) Crit.

The Collector Passive

Shuriken Shadow Strike fires an additional shuriken. On kill, gain 1d5 Shards then permanently increase the Shards generated from this ability by 1. Triggers once per combat.

The Nightshade

The Nightshade Passive

Shuriken Shadow Strike gains +150% Crit against Poisoned enemies. Whenever an Assassin Crits, they inflict 4 (+4 per Rank) Poison. Backup.

Rank B unlocks the specialization. Rank A adds a class upgrade. Rank S adds a second class upgrade and a fourth item slot. A hero below rank B cannot take a specialization at all.
